10 Predictions for 2012: The Top Trends in Talent Management and Recruiting

As we wind down the year and reflect on 2011, it seemed to be the year of social media in recruitment media space. Even with tighter budgets and just as many jobs to fill, many companies made major shifts both internally and externally by engaging and managing relationships on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. These will still play a major role in recruiting and development best practices and years to come.

As we get into 2012, the mobile platform will come into play more. The number of users of smartphones and tablets continues to grow each day.  In order to get into mobile recruiting, companies will have to ensure they have the bandwidth and correct technology in place (mobile friendly career pages, etc.) to provide the utmost candidate experience.
